Heal Thy One Plus is a social service organization focusing on raising awareness for African American veterans with TBI. We make them understand that there is hope for access, cost-saving measures, and continued care and treatment for them as long as required.
Our Goal
Our mission in establishing the nonprofit is to raise awareness for veterans suffering from TBI and offer them better access to care, financial assistance, and the opportunity to recover. We are applying for our organization's 501(c) (4) status. We heartily welcome those who wish to make anonymous donations and are also considering political parties to obtain grants. Our objective is to assist at least one more veteran (H1-Plus).
What We Do
We focus our efforts on veterans of color dealing with complicated traumas and brain injuries. We confront the issue of African American Veterans with TBIs who are not receiving proper or prompt medical care and inform them that there is still hope for obtaining treatment, covering costs, and sustaining it as long as medically needed.
